Cat, do you have Dreamweaver? The html coding is pretty intense on many of the blogger templates. Go to design, export your html and drop it into a high-end web design tool, like Dreamweaver. There you can try to manipulate some of the settings and import back into blogger. Remember to always save a backup of the original so you can always go back to it.Also, since many templates are written by individuals, they don't all conform to the same naming conventions. Look for a formatting section near the top that has a wide width setting, similar to your main body section. I think mine was '#content' and had a width of 650 px. You'll want to bump up that number.Warning, some formatting sections rely on a particular width. If you change the main body but not the header or footer, it could look wonky if they have concrete values coded in.Hope you feel better very soon.
I need help with HTML too. I hate being dependent on templates made by other people to have an even somewhat interesting blog. I currently am trying to figure out how to put links in my navbar at the top of my site...I'm clueless
