My Mom is on Facebook
My family is incredibly connected. A normal family looks like this:
My family looks like this:
Seriously, we are ALL addicted to our computers, the internet, and facebook. But it goes beyond that....
It's really kind of scary. There is no privacy in my family. Want to let your friends know that you're sleepy on your facebook status? Better be prepared for comments from parents, aunts, uncles, and grandparents asking if you're having trouble sleeping again, and giving you tips that help them fall asleep, and oh, by the way, maybe you should come visit because it's been too long!
I love my family, but I definitely have to censor what I say online to protect myself from smothering! =p
What about you? How connected is your family?
Author's Note: I love my family, and I'm really just playing around for comedic affect. So to the family members who read this, I love you! =)

Okay, My Dog MIGHT be Retarded
I take my dog on a walk twice every day. Once in the morning, and once in the evening. Tyler usually goes with me in the evening. One evening, a few days ago, it became clear to me that my dog may in fact be retarded.
The walk went something like this...
And I kid you not, Sophie the dog proceeded to approach and sniff at this horse statue that was exactly the same size as her as if it were another dog. Even sniffed at the statue in the butt region, between the horse statue's two back legs.
My dog's inability to recognize another LIVING CREATURE may be the most telling sign that her intelligence is indeed waning in her later years....
Seriously, this is so stupid, I couldn't make it up. Really happened. Tyler and I thought it was HILARIOUS.

Guess What? I'm Totally Awesome!
I just wanted to point out the new tab underneath the header. It's titled "Downloads." My artistic juices have been flowing, and I have made a few widescreen wallpapers for everyone's computers! Lucky you!
I have put my shiny new wallpapers on the Downloads page, and may (in the distant future) add other things there for you to download and enjoy. ^_^
....Also, I am posting this information to increase my number of posts just a bit more..... I'll tell you why in a few days....

5 Worst Movies of All Time That are Actually Pretty Awesome
Everyone is guilty of enjoying a few movies that are universally bad movies. I am no exception. There is nothing more enjoyable to me than stretching out on the couch in my pajamas to waste away a Saturday afternoon watching horrible movies. So here is a list of some of my favorite horrible movies
1) Running Man
Arnold outdoes himself with this late 1980's government thriller. The music alone is enough to win me over. With techno music, tacky jumpsuits, anti-government schemes, and Arnold Schwarzenegger dropping the best one-liners ever, this movie is hard to say no to!
2) Romy & Michelle's High School Reunion
A truly hilarious movie about two incredibly stupid grown women and the adventure they have preparing for and attending their 10 year high school reunion. This movie is cheesy, stupid, superficial, and ridiculous. I love their ridiculous clothing, pathetic schemes, AND I learned who invented Post-It notes! =)
3) Final Destination
This "horror" movie is absolutely ridiculous. A boy gets a vision, and manages help his friends escape death. But DEATH doesn't give up so easily. It chases after them, subjecting each to a more ridiculous and far-fetched accidental death than the one before.
4) Snakes on a Plane
This is possibly the worst movie I have ever seen. But it will always be a guilty pleasure for me because of the scene when the older gentleman throws a young woman's chihuahua at a big snake to buy enough time to escape. Hahahaha. Hilarious! Never mind how ridiculous the premise actually is! Seriously, who came up with that idea?
5) Clue
This board game turned movie is actually one of my favorite movies, and the reason is easy enough to explain. Two Words.
Tim Curry.
That is all that this movie NEEDS to be designated awesome. =)

States States States
Indiana, I am sorry, but seriously... WTF? You are confusing. You don't want to call your inhabitants Indians, so you make up a word? Really? That is plain pathetic. Seriously.
.....It's just kinda sad. You need some friends, Indiana. And I won't be one of them!....Although I will concede that your costume is pretty awesome.
Iowa, you do not have keen vision. You were named after an Indian War Chief. Get your stories right! Maybe you should go make friends with Indiana, and he can tell you a little more about it, since he seems so interested in it. Also, if you're the HAWKeye state, why does your flag have an Eagle on it? Hmmmm? That is just silly.
Kansas, if all you have to say for yourself is that you grow wheat, you should probably not say anything at all. I'm sure you're filled with whole-grain cheerio-loving, beer-drinking, wheat bread eating freaks, but the rest of the world does not want to know. Seriously. Get with the program. Why not a name that plays homage to a certain famous quote? The "No-Place-Like-Home State," or...
The Ruby Red Slipper State." That last one would certainly be popular with your gay communities. Maybe you should think about that.
Kentucky, Kentucky, Kentucky....I worry for you sometimes. I am sorry, but despite the colorful name, there really is NO SUCH THINGS as BLUE grass. Grass is green. See, that's because grass is a plant, and (like most plants) it is filled with lots of GREEN chlorophyll! I know it seems kind of crazy, but this means that grass is green. ALL grass. There is no freak mutant version of grass that is blue....even if you really wish there was because you are also a freak mutant of some sort.
