I've been struggling a bit these last few days. I've felt unmotivated and low energy.
Didn't get the job I applied for, and I was completely surprised. So...now my summer plans are uncertain...I'm not sure what I'm going to do, but I think I'll figure it out.
There is a family problem that I'm not really at liberty to talk about, and I'm...concerned about it. I think everything will be okay, but...I'm not sure.
Tyler and I had an argument, which we did settle then, but...I'm still stressing about it a little bit. I'm not convinced that the real problem is fixed, or even really addressed. Dr. Carr said that I'll be training Tyler the rest of my life, which was entertaining.
Had a session with my therapist this morning before class, and now I do feel much better, which is a relief. I just need to remain positive. I WILL figure out what I'll do for the summer.... just not after I give myself time to think about it.
For now, falling avoided. =)

Scarborough Fair
I went to the Scarborough Renaissance Festival in Waxahachie, TX this weekend, and it was AWESOME. We drove to a hotel near the festival on Friday afternoon. Then Tyler, Rachel, and I spent the night in the hotel room. We went to the Festival on Saturday morning. We got there just before the festival opened its doors at 10am. We left at about 6:30, a mere 30 minutes before they closed. We shopped, watched shows, ate food, and took TONS of pictures!
It was a lot of fun to FINALLY see the costumes that I worked so hard on in action! Plus, the one that Grandma made for me was totally awesome! Except, when I picked the fabric, I didn't think about the connotations of purple fabric. Hahaha. So I guess I was a "friend of the queen." My bad! Anyways, Here are some of my favorite pictures! (At least if I can get the photos to work!

Blah blah blah...
And so I begin with entry number two.
Last night was stressful. Talked with Tyler about Wow. Started another sewing project while I still have access to a sewing machine. Began watching House. Watched Project Runway. I wish the person that stayed had been sent home. Then it was time for bed, but I couldn't find my cellphone.
Tyler and I tore the apartment apart looking for it. No luck. I get very frustrated, angry even. Went to bed very upset. Woke up in a better mood. After all, my classes today were both canceled.
Had a phone appointment this morning, then I worked on my newer and older sewing projects for most of the morning. Called the fabric store, I did indeed leave my phone there. I picked up the phone, and have spent most of the remaining afternoon watching House, Season 1. All very exciting.
I think I'll keep working on my sewing projects soon.
In other news, my friends and I are going to Scarborough Fair next weekend, and I'm very excited! =)

And So it Starts....Again
I've had blogs before. Although admittedly, it has been a long time. Going back and reading them always leaves me feeling embarrassed, because my past blogs have always ended up being nothing more than a place for me to gripe about things. And then I would get bored of them, and stop writing. I admit that because of this, I'm a little nervous about starting this blog. I don't want this to become a place to vent immature or overly emotional feelings and ideas.
For now, I think this will be a practice in consistency. I want to prove to myself that I can keep a journal, or record of what I do from day to day without filling it with complaints. My therapist has told me before that the way we talk to ourselves has a huge impact on our outlook. And to be honest, a journal isn't anything but our own self-talk, projected at a computer screen or notebook, so that we can feel a little more sane at the end of the day. So I'm going to endeavor to keep this positive. =)
Signing off for now, to write more later tonight (I hope!)
