Now I'm Official!

I now have a NON-family member follower! It's official, my name is out there! So here is a tribute to my favorite new watcher and fellow blogger from ChickenMaker!













.....Also, I promise I'll do a real post later today....if I feel like it....actually, let's just nix the whole promise thing. But I'll try.

And So it Starts....Again

I've had blogs before. Although admittedly, it has been a long time. Going back and reading them always leaves me feeling embarrassed, because my past blogs have always ended up being nothing more than a place for me to gripe about things. And then I would get bored of them, and stop writing. I admit that because of this, I'm a little nervous about starting this blog. I don't want this to become a place to vent immature or overly emotional feelings and ideas.

For now, I think this will be a practice in consistency. I want to prove to myself that I can keep a journal, or record of what I do from day to day without filling it with complaints. My therapist has told me before that the way we talk to ourselves has a huge impact on our outlook. And to be honest, a journal isn't anything but our own self-talk, projected at a computer screen or notebook, so that we can feel a little more sane at the end of the day. So I'm going to endeavor to keep this positive. =)
