Job Hunt

I am graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture on December 17th.  I have officially started the job hunt.

Writing a resume is HARD.  I am technically a salesperson (for wedding gowns), but it turns out, I'm not really comfortable at selling MYSELF.

It probably doesn't help that writing a resume makes me feel like an idiot..... Because my resume looked something like this when I started....

But something tells me that this won't help me get a job......

I think I should reconsider this whole job-hunt thing.  Maybe I should just blog every day, and starve.

.....

But then I wouldn't be able to buy any chocolate.....

  2. It's working just fine, but the pay leaves something to be desired. I love my job, don't get me wrong. But I graduate in a little less than a month. It doesn't make sense to stay and make LESS than $10/hour, when I can get a job in a field I studied in college and make at LEAST twice that.

  5. This was hilarious, especially the charts. I've always hated selling myself in resumes and cover letters, but doing it in an interview is even worse. Good luck!

  6. Job hunting sucks. Job interviews definitely suck! I always hate that question that seems to be on every one "What is your biggest flaw?" Seriously? There are only two choices with that, give an answer that's so obviously self congratulatory pretending to be humble, or give them a reason not to hire you.
